Maria has authored several articles
featured in the Argus-Champion in
the New London area, the Laker and
Meredith News in the Lakes Region on
several aspects of design,
decorating and on the importance of
certification for qualified interior
designers in Builder/Architect
Magazine. Her work has been
published in several magazines
including Yankee, NH Magazine,
NH
Home, and New England Home. “Color
in Small Spaces”, a book by Kimberly
Mikula and Brenda Grant-Hays
featuring four of of Maria's projects.
Maria generously contributed to
seven showhouses benefiting, Upper
Valley Youth Services, Concord
Hospital, NH Music Festival and the
NH Humane Society and has
participated in several charitable
events for the Sunapee PTO, the
Newport Opera House Holiday House
Tours, the Zonta Club and Christmas
at the Fells. During Meredith's 2006
Home and Garden Show, Maria
presented a workshop on the
undertones in paints and fabrics and
was publicly endorsed by Discovery
TV’s Rebecca Cole of Discovery
Channel's "Surprise by Design",
guest speaker at the event.

Maria held the position of president
of the New Hampshire Interior Design
Coalition (NHIDC), a non-profit
organization promoting the
certification of interior designers
for eight years and continues to
actively educate the public
regarding the continual advances of
the profession of interior design.
Maria is a member of the New
Hampshire Home Builders & Remodelers
Association and is Secretary for the
Lakes Region district.
The New Hampshire Home Builders &
Remodelers Association has presented
Maria with 26 awards for excellence
in design. Her skills have been
widely acclaimed by clients and
contemporaries alike as evidenced in
her personal portfolio. Maria lives
in the Lakes Region with her
husband, Bob who together have five
children and five grandchildren.
